Newly Renovated Barn in the Woods for Fun Retreat

beautiful quiet place of peace for a retreat. Positive: the ease of using a code was great the property was beautiful there was a flock of tirkeys every morning right outside the door Negative: i didnt like how you could only get to the game room by ladder. our 4 yr old grandson fell thru the whole to the 2nd floor that was very scary.the other thing I didnt like is it is not handicap axxesible the doorway to bathrooms are so narrow. and there was molsy bowls in the cabinet

Positive: Beautiful setting and cute renovated barn. Lots of space to spread out between the 3 levels, 4 bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms. Plenty of linens and towels, and super comfortable beds. Negative: A few little things like signs asking us to put nothing in the toilet besides toilet paper, but one of the bathrooms not having a trash can. Sheets left in the dryer that I needed to fold and put away if I wanted to use it. A sign saying quiet time (because there is another unit beneath this one) 10pm to 9am (11 hours daily!!) but we had a hard time falling asleep due to the loud TV below us multiple nights. One bowl and one plate per person, so had to run the dishwasher every single meal. Like I said, little things. Overall was good. Refrigerator water filter needing to be replaced and notified staff who said it was power outage that made the notification come on. Didn't leave me comfortable with drinking the water.
